Under clause 2 of the article , a citizen of India has also been prohibited from accepting any title from a foreign State . इस अनुच्छेद के खंड ( 2 ) के अधीन , भारत के नागरिक को भी किसी विदेशी राज्य से कोई उपाधि स्वीकार करने का प्रतिषेध किया गया है .

Abolition of Titles Article 18 prohibits the State to confer titles on anybody , whether an Indian citizen or a foreign national . उपाधियों का अंत अनुच्छेद 18 राज्य को , किसी व्यक्ति को , चाहे वह भारतीय नागरिक हो या विदेशी राष्ट्रिक हो , उपाधियां प्रदान करने का प्रतिषेध करता है .

Also , compulsion for production of documents is prohibited only if the documents convey the personal knowledge of the accused relating to the charge -LRB- State of Bombay v .
